Yachting season and weather in Mallorca
Mallorca and the Balearic Islands are ideal for yachting all year round. The sun shines here 300 days a year. From April to May, and from September to October, you can travel to the sea. There are few tourists here, but warm winds blow over the waters of Mallorca.
In summer, there is little rainfall in Mallorca, and there are practically no severe weather conditions. From the middle of August, the northwest Mistral wind blows in the Gulf of Lyon.
The best time to travel to Mallorca on a yacht with children is the first half of autumn. The water is already fully warmed up, and the daytime temperature is very comfortable.
There are no waves during the summer months, and if there are, they are not high. In winter, the water is choppy. The height does not exceed 5 meters. The tide times are the same as on the rest of the Spanish Mediterranean coast and are usually less than 1 meter.
