Yachting season and weather in Biograd
Biograd has the optimum temperature for yachting all year round. From May to September, in high season, it usually ranges from + 20 °C to + 25 °C, which is enough to spend a day in shorts and a T-shirt and get a light and beautiful tan. Even in winter, the weather is mild enough for a pleasant sailing trip.
The prevailing winds during the summer are mistral winds that blow from the sea and are partly fueled by the sun's heat. Weak winds blow from the shore at night.
There are not many underwater currents on the Adriatic, so the water is warm all year round. Even in winter, the water temperature in Biograd does not drop below + 15 °C.
