Yacht rental in Lanzarote
There are several fishing ports with mooring places available, and 3 large marinas, where it is possible to rent a boat in Lanzarote:
- Rubicon. It is one of the most modern marinas of the archipelago. Rubicon has 460 berths. The yacht charter in Lanzarote bareboat is available here. A skipper could be hired at an additional cost.
- Puerto Calero. This marina is the same size as Rubicon. Its distinctive feature is the distilled water of a specific taste. In mid-March, a 4-day sailing regatta starts here.
- Lanzarote. It is located in the island capital of Arrecife and has 380 berths. To hire a boat in Lanzarote is convenient because the international airport is also located in Arrecife.
There are several smaller marinas and anchorages, which are mainly situated on the south coast.
There are also coves along the coast: Papagayo Beach in the south and Playa Francesca in Graciosa.
Just one kilometer from Lanzarote is the Chinijo Archipelago. There are many small islands: Alegranza, Graciosa, Montaña Clara, Roque del Este and Roque del Oeste.
We recommend visiting the region for experienced yachtsmen. There are strong winds, few sheltered anchorages, and long distances between marinas and yacht harbors.
