Fiumanka sailing regatta is held in June, and Rijeka’s Regatta — in March. For participation, one needs to register and to rent a boat in Rijeka for several months before the start.
The international airport is located on the island of Krk, connected with the land by a bridge. It is about 30 km from the airport to the city center.
