A nice, quiet, clean place, quite distinct from the rest of Athens since it's average income is probably in the millions.
There's not really any sand-based beaches though so don't go there expecting that. Also, while I believe there is a museum based on a boat, we were not entirely sure if we could go on it or not. It seemed to be sectioned off for some event with sailors dressed in uniforms.
We didn't try though so perhaps I'm wrong.
There's a number of places to relax and drink something so bringing wayerbisnt as important, but it's still hot.
4 stars because it was good but not amazing.
It's a beautiful marina neighbouring a park, with lots of high end yachts, coffee houses, and recreational facilities for young kids. The only downside to it all, is that car parking is not too easy at peak hours during the weekend. It's great for a nice walk along the coastline and can easily be combined with an outdoor cinema summer night out.
Beautiful place, plenty of space to walk around the boats, bug variety of restaurants and bar to choose from. Relatively small but very well maintained car parking. Good to come at any time single, couples, family. Maybe too busy for running and cycling as exercise.
Just a quick coffee or a summer beer, a snack or a delicate dinner, this Marina is quite small but has a few cute resto-cafés with amazing views of the luxurious boats docking there. If you are interested on going there by boat, there is an info desk with helpful staff. Plenty of parking space just outside its gate, parallel to the main, coastal road, which can get quite jammed especially during summer weekends.
A nice area to walk and cycle (if they let you, more on that later). The place is highly watched by security and they will casually make you take the bicycle next to you and walk while being there. Yiots and mini ships make the view better and it is generally a very well thought out and clean place. Good choice for a walk with children by the sea.
