Santorini or Thira is an island in the Greek Cyclades archipelago. It is located in the Aegean Sea. According to legend, Tyra is the remains of the sunken Atlantis.
Here you will see white houses with blue roofs and slopes going into the sea. This has made Thira one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. The island has a great view of Santorini. The city ends many charter vacations in the Cyclades.

It is easy and safe to sail to Santorini on a yacht. There is very deep water here. An exception is the approach to the pier (there are many reefs, and it is better to approach it from the west).
Mooring can be done at the pier in the village of Oia. It's comfortable. The only downside is the waves from passing ferries.
In the south of Santorini is the Vlihada marina. It is the only port where you can safely moor a yacht during a storm (Meltemi) or leave the vessel unattended while exploring the island.
The volcanic arc of the South Aegean Sea passes through Santorini. It is 500 km long and 20 to 40 km wide. The arc runs from Bodrum in Turkey to mainland Greece and includes the islands of Aegina, Metana, Poros, Milos, Santorini, Kos and Nisyros.
Yachting in Santorini will bring you relaxation in hot springs, numerous beaches with red and black sand.
