Refused entry 3 times. In spite of making a reservation, refused entry by the boat man. We moored elsewhere and went by foot to marina. Photographed the spaces, talked to very helpful reception staff, who called boat man on radio. He was very cross, he decides if there are spaces, there are NO spaces despite making a booking and there being lots of space.
This happened three times this summer. Not sure if it is one particular boat man, but he needs to go back to his previous job.
Real shame as it's a nice marina, and I was going to winter the boat there. So they lost three overnight stays and a wintering fee - about Euro 4000.
There is an excellent concrete dock about 400 meters west of the marina entrance. It's not in the town harbour, but if you stern to on the east side, very little swell. Water on the quay but no electric, closer to town that marina and cost Euro 7 for a 42ft boat.
PLEASE USE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN BOOKING KOS MARINA.
It's a nice place but pretty quiet. 2 bars that serve food that are quite good. Been here 3 times now but not much atmosphere of an evening. Marina staff are all very friendly and helpful
Great place. So original and sweet. Great view and tasty food.
Great marina with excellent facilities - power, water, showers, shops. Tedious location of port authority etc (in old town) if you are leaving Greece from here.
Perfect to start the TRIP! All you need supermarkets... shower... cafe.... restaurant ... all what you expect from a marina!
