The seaport of Split is located in the middle of Croatia, on the Adriatic coast, in a cozy bay protected by breakwaters. This port is constantly expanding so that more and more cruise ships can berth here and land passengers without using a tender landing.
Nowadays the seaport of Split is one of the largest on the Adriatic coast. The modern port consists of two harbors — the Northern and the Southern one. Berths can be approached by sea vessels having a draft of 4 to 9 meters.
From different parts of the world cruise ships arrive to the port of Split. So, this place is the point of interest to numerous tourists. The Split beach, connecting the port with Diocletian’s palace, includes a pedestrian zone with an abundance of cafes on its territory, which are an ideal place for friendly communication, with a unique view of the sea, as well as ships and a port.
