Tips for a yacht charter in Sicily

To charter a yacht in Sicily, you need to specify a few details:

1. Dates of yacht trips. Most charter companies provide boats for a term of 7 days, from Saturday to Saturday. If the trip is during the high season, it is better to book the yacht as far in advance as possible, 3-6 months before the start of the charter.
2. Number of crew members. It allows figuring out the necessary number of cabins for people and yacht size.
3. Rent a yacht with a captain or private bareboat charter having the required certification. For a bareboat charter, one of the requirements is to have a boating license recognized by the Italian Authorities: RYA, IYT, etc. Without license you can book the boat with a skipper.
